Under the direction of the Principal, the successful incumbent will provide administrative support to the school in accordance with Board policies & procedures.


Duties

  • General reception, phones, mail and correspondence
  • Record and maintain attendance for students on a daily basis
  • Maintain all student information in the Student Information System
  • Responsible for processing purchase orders and receipt of goods
  • Process/prepare all month end reports and OnSIS reports
  • Responsible for maintaining all achievement records and processing report cards and reports
  • Maintain enrolment statistics and prepare reports for Board and Ministry
  • Maintain Ontario Student Record (OSR) as outlined in the Ministry "OSR Guideline"
  • Maintenance of Board and inschool budgets and finances
  • Type newsletters, teacher handbook, and student handbook
  • All other duties assigned by the Principal

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of an Office Administration Program from a recognized Post-Secondary Institution and/or equivalent experience in office administration is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher)
  • Word processing, database and spreadsheet experience required;
  • Experience with Aspen (Student Information System) would be an asset
  • Experience with Google Applications would be an asset
  • Experience with School Cash Suite & K21
  • Proven commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
