This hybrid position is located in the greater Toronto area.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and promote environmental, health, and safety policies.-
  • Represent Trinity Communication Services in a professional manner.-
  • Prepare Quotations (meeting customer expectations for deadlines).-
  • Produce work breakdown structures for execution team (to be done on ERP).-
  • Prepare package for utility locates.-
  • Meet with City inspectors to review project and receive approval to proceed.-
  • Review work orders with Field Operations team.-
  • Ensure materials required for project have arrived in warehouse or ordered through Trinity Procurement Team.-
  • Track project progress and update customers and internal personnel as required.-
  • Review completed work packages, prepare invoice packages, and pass on as-built information as required.-
  • Pre / Post job costing.-
  • Working with cross-functional teams.-
  • Other duties as required by Director of Operations
  • Qualifications:
  • Formal education in Project Management and/or postsecondary education related to telecommunications or will be working towards certification or PMP designation 25 years telecommunication experience in a project management or project coordinator role ideally suited for the position
  • Fiber optic construction experience (both aerial and underground) is an asset
  • A passion for your work and a drive for excellence
  • Commitment to safety and ethical practices
  • Proven ability to understand construction and contract terms
  • Effective communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts at all levels in verbal, and written form
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail and logical problem solver
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work alone with no supervision and within a team environment
  • Ability to work outside of normal hours when required, including the possibility of weekend, evening, and overnight work
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Competence with MS Office
  • Ability to read and understand telecommunication system maps
