Who we are:
FNZ Group is an established and rapidly growing company in the FinTech industry. We are transforming the way financial institutions serve their wealth management customers. We partner with the entire financial industry to make wealth management accessible to more people.
We do this by providing services that span the entire wealth management value chain, from the digital user experience, client, account and portfolio management through to back-office trade execution, settlement and investment/member administration.
Today, we are responsible for over £700 billion in assets-under-administration, held by around 12 million customers of some of the world's largest financial institutions.
What our Infrastructure Project Managers do:
The Project Manager is responsible for the portfolio management of the Infrastructure project pipeline.
This will involve matrix leadership of distributed project teams in multiple locations, and the proactive identification, management and resolution of risks and issues throughout the full project lifecycle.
As well as management of the portfolio this will require direct management of multiple smaller projects and as such a technical infrastructure background or appreciation is preferred.
This is an Internal facing role but stakeholder management is a key requirement and requires the ability to build strong relationships with partners, often at a senior level.
Responsibilities also include:
- Develop and maintain a portfolio view of the Infrastructure project pipeline
- Manage the delivery of key projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation.
- Ensure the project delivers inline with policy.
- Develop and maintain an end to end project plan that delivers the agreed scope of the project to time, budget and quality criteria.
- Take accountability for working with all FNZ Directorates/areas to agree scope, timelines and artefacts in order to ensure delivery of the project in line with overall agreed plan.
- Provide timely, precise, accurate and comprehensive project MI and reporting to the Head of Technology Services and CIO as required
- Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through the full project lifecycle. Ensure mitigation plans are in place for all risks and issues, and take ownership for ensuring these mitigation plans are executed, or escalate to the Head of Technology Services and CIO as as is appropriate.
- Ensure project changes are managed in line with expectation.
- Ensure all 3rd party suppliers are engaged appropriately and contracts are in place and managed to ensure the required outcomes for FNZ
- Lead, manage and motivate a virtual team in multiple geographic locations, communicating project progress, and ensuring all team members take accountability for delivery.
Who we are looking for:
- Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
- Prior experience in successfully implementing Infrastructure projects
- Good team player with the ability to work independently and able to take initiative
- Superior problem solving capabilities and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken and written)*.
- FNZ has offices around the world. The firm's client base is also international. We must be able to provide our services in both French and English. Proficiency in both languages is required, because of the nature of our professional services and the need to communicate frequently with colleagues in other provinces or countries and to serve clients in both languages.
What we offer:
- We are mission led work at the heart of a purposeled organization, where you can be proud of the impact you make, every day. Where you'll transform the way over 20 million people invest, making wealth management more accessible, sustainable and transparent to more people.
- Rapid career growth encouraged to take on responsibility, play a part in the evolution of the company and rapidly drive your career development working on real projects that directly impact our clients and their customers.
