12 MONTH, REMOTE CONTRACT
Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join Canada's largest agricultural company. This is starting as a 12 month contract, remote across Canada, with expectation to work MST hours.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Documentation of business requirements, including recommendations for the design and functionality of reports.
• Monitor efficient transition of business requirements to technical specifications.
• Develop functional specifications, use cases, and test scenarios for system enhancements and new features.
• Lead Quality Assurance of project deliverables through testing and requirements validation to ensure functional implementation meets requirements
• Analyze and optimize business processes and data requirements the Environment & ESG portfolio.
• Participate in the development of project plans and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Work with developers to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
• Work with IT and business stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues and defects.
• Map out requirements across the portfolio to ensure solution alignment.
Education/Experience:
• 5+ years as a business analyst
• ERP functional expertise in SAP ESH modules and processes including:
- EHS Incident Management
- EHS Health and Safety Management
- EHS Environment Management
- Management of Change
- Maintenance Safety
- Safety and Audit Platforms
• Proven experience with technical documentation writing, including functional specifications, technical configuration guides, and supporting documentation
• Proven experience in communicating complex solutions to team members and project stake holders
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience working with co‐located, remote and hybrid project teams, highlighting the use of virtual communication and collaboration techniques
