Tuesday and Thursday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm (10 hours per week)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Submit cheque requests to Accounts Payable.
  • Host and chair monthly community partner meetings.
  • Maintain the spreadsheet and appropriate databases for all recipients of HPF or MSDPR crisis approvals.
  • Monitor monthly budget
  • Program reporting on a quarterly and asneeded basis
  • Contact recipients of HPF for 3month followup
  • Deliver cheques

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous administrative experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations including people at risk of and experiencing homelessness
  • Database entry familiarity with HIFIS and HMIS preferred.
  • Class 5 driver's license and access to reliable transportation

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong Deescalation skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use a traumainformed approach with clients
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and care
  • Skilled at setting boundaries with clients
  • Ability to use Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc)
