Job Summary:
As a Civil/Structural Engineer at our firm in London, Ontario, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and management of civil and structural engineering projects. Working within a dynamic team, you will contribute to the development and integrity of infrastructure in the London area, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Analysis:

Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural components for various projects, including buildings, bridges, roads, and infrastructure facilities. Utilize engineering software and tools to perform structural analysis, including finite element analysis and structural modeling. Development and integrity of infrastructure. 2. Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met. 3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including engineers, designers, and drafters. Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes. 4. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of design deliverables. Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor construction progress and address any issues or discrepancies. 5. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. Identify opportunities for business development and client engagement to expand the firm's presence in the London area. 6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations, codes, and standards applicable to civil and structural engineering projects in Ontario. Ensure projects comply with all regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals. For this we provide emergency on site civil engineering services The ability to support from Sarnia is hard on our team due to the emergency nature of the calls. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario or eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on design and project management. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, and REVIT. Strong technical knowledge of structural analysis, design codes, and construction practices. Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
