Scope of the Position:


A Security Officer is responsible for securing premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment with a sharp eye.

They inspect buildings and assure compliance to policy and procedure while also preventing losses or damages by reporting irregularities that may arise such as theft attempts on valuable assets.


Responsibilities:

  • Interior/exterior patrols
  • Medical escorts/emergencies
  • Automobile assists, (jumpstarts/unlocks)
  • Payroll distribution
  • Access control
  • Disciplinary/termination support
  • Investigations & report writing
  • Monitor & record CCTV system
  • Monitor time clock activities
  • Inclement weather assistance
  • Loss prevention
  • Other duties as assigned
- **Security Officers must demonstrate good judgement, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. They should also be able to handle stressful situations and maintain a calm demeanor**Qualifications:Experience

  • Have security, military, or law enforcement experience and/or a attending College/University seeking a degree in criminology/criminal justice (or comparable course of study) or have obtained a degree in said field of study.
***Education

  • Must have High School degree or its equivalency
  • Registered as a security officer (when it is required/available in your Country, State or Province).
  • Trained in First Aid/Basic Life Support
