Job Duties

  • Enter orders from load tenders into TMS (Truckmate) with accuracy
  • Track and trace shipments to provide updates to customers.
  • Compile and compute freight rates charges for transportation services, utilizing rate tables and tariff regulations
  • Calculate and record storage, redelivery, and reconsignment charges when applicable
  • Audit freight bills with respect to rates
  • Follow current standards and procedures.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintains good customer relations and solves problems
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
  • Create load tenders and send to other carriers.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Truckmate knowledge is an asset
  • Shipping rate analysis experience an asset
  • Experience in the logistics industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of freight rate calculations
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Salary:
From $17.00 per hour
