About the Role:

Calian is looking for a business focused technical

Product Manager to join our Wired & Terrestrial Wireless team The team provides our customers with advanced communication products and solutions used in wired and terrestrial wireless communication networks across the globe. You will be responsible for developing product concepts, customer sales, and the project management.


To be successful, you must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment, identify commercial opportunities, and find ways to meet our customer's needs.

This position will be working in-office at the 18 Innovation Blvd office in Saskatoon, SK.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • You will develop product concepts, oversee developments, and manage product life cycles
  • You will identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers, devise strategies to capture identified opportunities, prepare solicited and unsolicited proposals, and verify cost estimates
  • You will develop business cases for new and existing product development/evolution
  • You will manage various internal and external project teams to ensure client satisfaction as defined by performance, timelines, and budget
  • You will maintain close liaison with existing customers to promote customer satisfaction and foster new business opportunities
  • You will administer contracts with customers and suppliers

The Skills and Experience You Have:

  • A solid technical background, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Computer Science with a minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • Demonstrated team building skills coupled with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Experience in a related industry is considered an asset
  • Open to international travel for customer visits
  • Experience in SAP is considered an asset
