Role: Field Advisor - HVAC

Status: Regular, Full Time

Reports to: General Manager

Business Unit: Enercare Home and Commercial Services

Department: HVAC Operations Ontario

Location: GTA West

The Field Advisor - HVAC will play a key role in building a highly skilled technical workforce that aligns with Enercare's objectives and values. Responsibilities include providing guidance, on-the-job training, and briefings to ensure our technical team performs their duties safely, efficiently, and in line with all regulations and customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Training and coaching field employees to improve core performance metrics and enhance technical and communication skills.
  • Developing and sharing Field Reporting, including repeat call and multiple truck roll data, for managerial review.
  • Designing and delivering technical and sales training within budget and schedule to meet field staff development needs.
  • Mentoring Apprentices and promoting best practices for the field.
  • Collaborating with various departments on training requirements and attending relevant meetings.
  • Participating in incident investigations as needed and staying updated on regulations.
  • Conducting site visits, documentation, and audits of field work.

Qualifications

  • Gas Fitter 1 or 2 license and 313D or A certification.
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulations, Codes of Practice, and HVAC equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC field experience.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Skilled in assessment, problem-solving, and computer systems.
  • Committed to technical excellence and exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to travel.
