As the 5G race enters the next stage in Canada, our customers are continuing to invest in network evolution programs to prepare for future service offerings.

This investment has a clear focus on efficiency and TCO while demanding high capacity and performance networks. In this context a new position of Accounts CTO within CU Canada is being created.

This position will be based in Toronto and require some travel.

What you will do:

  • Support multiple customers and KAM(s) in direct customer dialogues, providing experience & knowledge of Ericsson technology & offerings.
  • Lead a team of technologists (CSR's) across domains.
  • Secure understanding of competition, market situation, etc. building on indepth knowledge & understanding of the customer & market dynamics.
  • Ensure that Ericsson is perceived as a technology leader & that our solutions (endtoend) provide added value compared to the competition by being a trusted advisor to key decisionmakers within our customer organizations.
  • Formulate strategies to identify customer pain point improvement areas to develop compelling solutions, and ultimately secure profitable business for Ericsson.
  • Build customercentric proposals & solutions that uniquely address customer business objectives.
  • Drive improvement of Ericsson offerings through a deep understanding of customer and market demands across all domains.
  • Partner with sales to explore needs, engage the customer, and translate found opportunities into detailed technical offering and proposals.
  • Possess a demonstrated ability to effectively leverage the wider global organization including the BA's, GFTL & MA Domain teams, in pursuit of supporting the customer engagement.

You will bring:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years in Technology, Solutions, and/or product management experience in telecoms industry
  • Experience in technology architecture, management and establishing relationships with customers.
  • E2E Ericsson portfolio knowledge across both Services and Products.
  • Indepth knowledge of current and future technology trends and their mapping to Ericsson Portfolio and Strategic Direction.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership (working across organizations and projects).
  • Experience in developing Network Evolution plans and working with Design and Optimization to ensure high performance (KPIs and benchmarking, etc)
  • Consultative Selling Skills, fluent across engagement models.
  • Presentation, communication and Ability to influence at an Executive/Senior Level.
  • As strong network within Ericsson solution & technology experts in GF Technology, the Business Areas and within the Ericsson CTO community.
