The Intern, Finance will assist the Finance and Administration Department accounting support functions such as processing customer rebates & deductions, running financial reports, customer data maintenance and special projects as assigned the team. Since this position is viewed as a learning opportunity, special projects may be assigned dependent on the student's specific interests and skills.

As you progress in your internship, you'll discover opportunities for you to grow and build your own career path.HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...- Support in day-to-day accounting activities including processing customer rebates & deductions, running financial reports Support day-to-day customer master data maintenance activities including customer creation, customer data updates and price list maintenance. Other duties (special projects) and ad-hoc business analysis as requiredYOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU...- Are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or in Accounting and/or Administration (Second or third year undergrad); Intention of pursuing CPA designation; Basic understanding of accounting principles (accruals, reconciliations, etc) Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community; Have previous related internship experience (an asset); Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative; Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners, quickly building relationships; Are bilingual with strong oral and written communication skills (French and English) be you will be interacting with partners in departments across the country;Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
