I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal region.

I am looking for a controller for my client in Montreal. This is a permanent position.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of the accounting function.
  • Provide financial support to company executives, sales teams and
operations.

  • Assist staff and other departments with accounting questions and problems.
  • Manage and supervise a diverse team of accountants, accounting technicians and management positions
accounts payable and receivable.

  • Achieve efficiencies by realigning roles/positions and optimizing a modern ERP
  • Carry outthe implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Play a key role in the ledger and journal review and approval process
auxiliaries.

  • Coordinate and supervise the monthend closing process.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and play a key role in financial planning and
the analysis.

  • Work with management teams by analyzing, reporting and establishing
dashboards to promote sound financial decision-making.

  • Support the annual budget process and monthly forecasts.
  • Participate in the annual audit process.
  • Assist with special reporting and analysis projects.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed or assigned.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA designation preferred or similar designation.

  • 35 years of experience in accounting in a management position.
  • Experience working in organizations of various sizes
