Due to continued growth, Brandt is currently looking to fill a Financial Analyst, Accounting Systems & Projects position in our Regina, SK location.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daytoday maintenance of the accounting systems, ensuring integration with the company's internal reporting tools, and providing support to the accounting teams
  • Assist with planning, testing and implementation of accounting system functionality improvements, to drive efficiencies for operations and accounting
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a new financial statement reporting tool for all divisions, and support the ongoing maintenance
  • Work in collaboration with the IT department on the development and maintenance of a database of financial and operational metrics to support reporting across the company
  • Along with operations and accounting teams, assist in development and maintenance of consistent KPI reporting across all divisions
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting to be used across the company.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of improvements to the company's budget tool, and perform annual updates and maintenance required in advance of the budget cycle

Required Skills:

  • Experience working in an accounting setting with exposure to Accounting System Software rules
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power BI
  • Understanding of financial metrics and accounting
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
  • Solid analytical, attention to detail and problemsolving skills with drive for continuous improvement
Required Experience

  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in Business/Accounting, with advanced degree or professional Accounting designation (such as CPA) preferred
