ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TRADESPERSON

Exciting Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an Electrical & Instrumentation Tradesperson at Irving Tissue in Saint John, New Brunswick.

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Tradesperson, you will be responsible for electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairs at the tissue mill. This includes troubleshooting, programming, and enhancing existing controls systems. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through instrument tuning and program adjustments. The role may involve on-call duty and shift work.

Requirements:

  • Industrial Controls Technology Diploma, or relevant Electrical or Instrumentation licenses
  • Self-motivation and a strong drive for success
  • Knowledge of control systems, programmable logic controls, and high voltage systems
  • Computer proficiency, with familiarity in Factory Talk and process networks being advantageous
  • Prior experience in a similar industry is a plus
