CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a logistics supervisor to join our team. Within their team, you will promote and support people's development to meet customer needs and create an environment that will lead to high employee engagement and customer satisfaction. As a successful candidate, you will instill professionalism, consistency, and adherence to company practices within your team. You will also identify development opportunities, provide feedback, and offer continuous training opportunities for your direct reports. Individualized coaching, participation in recruitment activities, and performance reviews will also be required.

Your sense of mission, attention to detail, and strategic planning skills will be crucial in ensuring that your actions meet the needs of our business and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Keep abreast of and disseminate information.
  • Strategically plan for transportation modes based on industry developments.
  • Develop relationships with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize various business tools for proper execution and accuracy.
  • Plan and execute continuous training, individualized coaching, and talent reviews for your team.

  • Provide guidance to employees on responding to challenging customer scenarios.
  • Maintain and oversee necessary improvements of team KPIs for operational excellence.
  • Set qualitative and quantitative personalized goals for your team.
  • Collaborate with various teams and customers for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Monitor and contribute to shipments with internal and external parties.
  • Ensure customer service level agreements are executed correctly.
  • Promote corporate culture and customer service philosophy.
  • Participate in business reviews and support sales efforts.
  • Manage and revise best practices and SOP materials.
  • Ensure your team has the tools, time, and necessary support to serve our customers successfully.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal systems and processes.
  • Handle other assigned tasks as needed.
