WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Being part of the RBC Capital Markets Trade Floor team, is a fast-paced, challenging yet very rewarding experience.

Being close to the action of market traders and having an impact on their success, is a very real and rewarding opportunity.

You'll be part of a very select, highly technical work team, focusing on keeping our trade floor supported and active, during a very busy trading day.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Handle trade floor support requests through a dedicated hotline and walk up support as needed.
  • Deploy hardware as well as imaging computers for hot swaps and onboarding deployments.
  • VPN \ SSL Support as well as Cisco vEDGE and Aruba Rap (mySOHO routers) support.
  • Responsible for managing a client based of ~660+ users\traders including desktops and peripherals, VDI's. Laptops, Thin Clients, Printers, and iPhone\Android devices.
  • Day to day deskside support with shifts covering 6:00am to 6:30pm weekdays.
  • Onboarding and off boarding users
  • Requests, prepare hardware devices for work and workfrom home equipment.
  • Help with deskside projects on occasional evenings and weekend workloads.
  • Supporting Disaster Recovery site and annual DR tests.
  • Windows 10 and Office 365 environment
  • Provides initial investigations and ensures fast turnaround times on incident resolutions.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • 2 to 3 years professional experience working in Trading and Financial services.
  • Ability to quickly learn and work independently, in a fastpaced trading environment.
  • Strong daily use of ServiceNow incident ticket experience is a must
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, workflow management and time management capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • Deadlinedriven and resultsoriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • CompTIA A+ certification

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publiclytraded corporation
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage tech tasks efficiently and with little direction.
  • Strong understanding of the trade floor support experience is a strong quality.
  • Microsoft Certifications / Networks + / VMware experience
