Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a Commercial Real Estate and Consultant driven value gotomarket plan aligned to AVI-SPL's strategic business plan.
- Develop a strategy for end user business development.
- Manage daytoday responsibilities of Business Development Specialist(s) within region.
- Manage a leadbased sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities at which time a quote/proposal is needed, which then will be handed off to a local based Account Manager within the Region.
- Maintain and grow existing partnerships, identify, recruit, establish and grow new complimentary partnerships.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with each strategic partner where appropriate. Report of progress, alignment, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Partner with appropriate leads to develop positioning, messaging, and branding for new lines of business or practice, internal brands, and portfolio additions.
- Evaluate Request for Proposal solicitations that AVI-SPL is invited to participate in and that center on platformoriented and / or multielement engagements. When determined appropriate, assign, and participate in the development and presentation of strategies necessary to properly position AVI-SPL within these opportunities in a creative and differentiated fashion.
- Maintain and share professionalknowledge through education, networking events and presentations.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and measure key performance indicators including success metrics.
- Develop strong relationships with key Customer stakeholders to ensure AVI-SPL maintains a favorable position and that the desired value proposition is being provided.
- Working with the Director of Engineering, act as Primary contact on AVI-SPL Consulting Design/Build projects within region, as appropriate.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
Adheres to the AVI-SPL core values and standards in carrying out the corporate mission and vision and must be creative, collaborative, and constructive.
- Successful track record in both partner development and influencer relations with Real Estate and Consultant community.
- Exceptional relationship and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts in plain, compelling, concise language.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensusbuilding skills ability to work with crossfunctional teams and executive leadership.
- Must have strong teamwork skills to operate in a team selling environment to new and existing customers.
- Selfstarter capable of working independently and ensuring to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques.
- Solid business / problem solving skills with the focus on customer service (internally and externally).
Education and / or Experience:
- Minimum of a 4year degree or comparable industry experience is required
- 5+ years of experience with Business Development related experience
- 3+ years of experience working with or value creation within the General Contractor, Electrical Contractor and / or consultant practices is preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives
- Global business experience in the Audio Visual / Unified Communications market a plus
- Experience operating in a fast paced and continuous improvement state and / or complex matrix business environment is desirableFonctions et responsabilités essentielles
Développer un plan de mise sur le marché de la valeur pour l'immobilier commercial et les consultants, aligné sur le plan d'affaires stratégique d'AVI-SPL.
Gérer les responsabilités quotidiennes du (des) spécialiste(s) du développement commercial dans la région.
Gérer un pipeline de ventes basé sur les prospects et développer de nouvelles opportunités commerciales, au moment où un devis/une proposition est nécessaire, qui sera ensuite transmis à un gestionnaire de compte local dans la région.
Mener des entretiens trimestriels avec chaque partenaire stratégique, le cas échéant. Rendre compte des progrès, de l'alignement, des défis et des opportunités de croissance.
Travailler en partenariat avec les responsables concernés pour développer le positionnement, les messages et la stratégie de marque pour les nouvelles lignes d'activité ou pratiques, les marques internes et les ajouts au portefeuille.
Évaluer les demandes de propositions auxquelles AVI-SPL est invitée à participer et qui sont centrées sur des engagements orientés plate-forme et/ou multiéléments.
