Il joue un rôle essentiel dans la gestion des demandes d'autorisation préalable, répond aux questions des clients à l'interne comme à l'externe et produit et analyse les rapports sur les demandes de règlement pour médicaments.

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES

Assister les pharmaciens cliniciens dans leurs tâches quotidiennes liées à la gestion des listes de médicaments et des programmes.
Gérer et examiner les demandes d'autorisation préalable en fonction des ententes sur les niveaux de service conclues avec les clients à l'externe.
Récupérer et organiser les nouveaux avis de conformité publiés par Santé Canada.
Gérer la boîte de courriel des Services cliniques et répondre aux questions des clients à l'interne comme à l'externe portant sur divers sujets, notamment la couverture des médicaments, le traitement des demandes de règlement, les listes de médicaments, les programmes ainsi que les lois sur la pharmacie adoptées par les provinces. Les questions soulevées peuvent donner lieu à des analyses des demandes de règlement, à une collaboration avec d'autres services et à la formulation de recommandations visant à améliorer les processus de travail internes, à assurer la conformité aux lois et à consolider l'orientation d'Express Scripts Canada sur les programmes.
Préparer, organiser et distribuer les documents nécessaires aux réunions du Comité d'évaluation des médicaments. Présenter certains documents au besoin.
Produire et analyser des rapports sur les demandes de règlement pour médicaments dans le cadre des programmes cliniques et des projets de l'entreprise. Appuyer les demandes de modélisation des régimes, au besoin.
Aider les spécialistes en gestion de régimes d'assurance médicaments à mettre à jour les listes de médicaments.
Aider à l'élaboration de projets stratégiques et au développement de produits, y compris effectuer des recherches, recueillir des renseignements et organiser les données.
Agir à titre de personne-ressource pour les autres équipes au sein d'Express Scripts Canada, notamment les équipes chargées de la gestion des régimes d'assurance médicaments et de la base de données sur les médicaments et l'équipe du Service à la clientèle.

COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES

Être titulaire d'un baccalauréat dans un domaine lié aux sciences.
Avoir terminé la formation de technicien en pharmacie constitue un atout.
Avoir de l'expérience à titre de technicien en pharmacie et avoir travaillé au moins deux ans dans une pharmacie de détail, ou posséder une expérience de travail équivalente.
Être bilingue (français et anglais).
Connaître les critères cliniques qui s'appliquent à la liste de médicaments de la RAMQ.
Posséder de l'expérience en gestion de régimes d'assurance médicaments constitue un atout.
Maîtriser la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook et PowerPoint).
Posséder des connaissances relatives à d'autres systèmes informatiques constitue un atout.
Bien connaître les lois sur la pharmacie et les règlements adoptés en vertu de ces lois.
Connaître le nom des médicaments, les annexes aux listes de médicaments et les ressources en pharmacie.
Posséder d'excellentes aptitudes en service à la clientèle.
Être à l'aise de parler avec les clients et d'autres professionnels de la santé (médecins, infirmières, etc.).
Être en mesure d'effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et de prioriser son travail.

- The Clinical Services Associate works closely with Clinical Pharmacists to manage the clinical formularies and programs. The Associate has a critical role in administering prior authorization requests, answering clinical questions from both internal and external clients, and retrieving and analyzing drug claims reports.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
Assist clinical pharmacists in the day-to-day management of clinical formularies and programs.
Administer and review Prior Authorization requests according to service level agreement with external customers.
Retrieve and organize new Notice of Compliance information from Health Canada
Manage the Clinical Services team mailbox and answer enquiries from both internal and external customers on issues including drug coverage, claims adjudication, formularies and programs, and provincial pharmacy legislation. Queries may lead to claims analyses, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and subsequent provision of recommendations to improve internal work processes, ensure alignment with legislation, and enforce ESC program philosophy.
