The Director of Primary Care provides leadership to primary health programming at the Alex Community Health Centre.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer – Community Health (COO-CH) and working alongside Medical Leads and Social Teams, this position is responsible for the clinical performance, operational efficiency, client and staff experience, program sustainability, and the quality of service of The Alex's Community Health Centre Clinic, Seniors Health Clinic, Youth Health Clinic, Mobile Health, Indigenous Health Programming and other specialty programs.

The portfolio will also provide operational support to The Alex's medical teams embedded within The Alex Housing Program.

The Director of Community Primary Care will work with the Operations Leadership Team to implement and execute strategic and operational plans and prepare The Alex for Accreditation in 2024.
