Job Overview:

  • Strong computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or equivalent ERP software.
  • Liaise directly with vendors and freight & delivery services.
  • Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment including but not limited to forklift and pallet jack.
  • Possess a valid forklift operator license for Class 1, 4, or 5 forklifts.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in the outdoor elements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Warehouse Coordination:

  • Coordinate daily activities in the Abbotsford warehouse with direction from the Parts & Warehouse Manager.
  • Provide direction to and coordinate the daily activities of the Warehouse Assistant.
  • Liaise directly with Inside and Technical Sales members to ensure preparation and shipment of rentals and sales in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and assist with the receiving of inbound container shipments of underhook accessories from the supplier to either the Abbotsford or Agassiz location.

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Clean and palletize parts and underhook attachments equipment prior to shipping.
  • Ensure all decals are installed prior to shipping and are in good condition.
  • Book freight pickups and work with customs brokers.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of inbound materials, parts, and products.
  • Log inbound items and ensure receipt in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Ensure documentation for shipments of rentals, accessory and parts sales are documented in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Coordination of shipping and receiving of recertification of equipment.
Underhook Attachments Sales and Rentals (In conjunction with Warehouse Assistant):

  • Ensure underhook attachments showroom and warehouse are maintained in an organized manner, ensuring that is always it presentable and tour ready for customers and visitors.
  • Palletize and prepare underhook attachments for shipping at the direction of the Product Manager and Inside Sales Representative.
  • Document all inbound and outbound rentals with an inspection document, taking photos of all side, interior, data plates, certification decals, and any noted defects.
  • Inform Product Manager and/or Inside Sales Representative of rental returns within 1 hour of receipt, placing emphasis on damaged or soiled equipment.
  • Clean soiled rental equipment within 24 hours of receipt and report to Product Manager and/or Inside Sales Representative on cleaning timeframe for billing purposes.
  • Touch up paint on underhook attachments as needed.
  • Coordinate preparation and loadout of components required for equipment mobilizations (i.e., chain rigging and remotes).

Parts (In conjunction with Parts Associate):

  • Work with Parts & Warehouse Manager and Service Advisors to ensure technicians are equipped with the correct tools/parts.
  • Load outgoing staging area daily with tools and parts as per Service Advisor requests.
  • Clear and process incoming parts staging area daily.
  • Restock incoming parts not used on jobs.
  • Stocking consumable items.

Facility/Warehouse Housekeeping (In conjunction with Warehouse Assistant):

  • Ensure things are in the right place and not left in temporary locations throughout the warehouse bays (i.e., boxes, pallets, etc.).
  • Garbage and recycling checked daily and emptied when close to full.
  • Mezzanines cleaned and maintained monthly.
  • Maintenance in warehouse and office as needed.
  • Repainting lines on floor of warehouse as needed.
