Trans Load Operator

Responsibilities:_
The primary objective of this role will assist in the handling of over 36,000 metric tons per year of dry feed material that will pass though the Abbotsford Trans-Load Operations.
You will also assist in the warehouse operations of 15,000sqft of dry storage, and ensuring the loading of over 840 super-train hopper trucks per year.
This position would be Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm-
Key Duties:_
- Loading from rail cars to super train hopper trucks for deliveries
- Loading from rail cars to dry storage facilities
- Loading from dry storage facility to super train hopper trucks for deliveries
- Loading to dump truck and transporting material to warehouse on site for storage
- Operation of transloading equipment
- Work in coordination with rail yard, and warehousing staff
- Work in coordination with our Quality Assurance staff member
- Work in conjunction with third party rail suppliers and customers
- Take direction and work in collaboration with customer service representatives
- Maintain a CLEAN work environment
- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Safe Forklift and Heavy Equipment Operation
- Some lifting will be required
- Comply with Health and Safety Rules and Regulations
- Flexibility to multitask and handle multiple yard or warehouse duties
- Other Duties may be assigned to you by your manager as required

From $26.00 per hour
