Muni Robata is a fine-dining Japanese restaurant centrally located in the core of downtown Toronto. At Muni, we offer our guests an unforgettable dining experience by pairing excellent food with experienced service.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests, take food orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
  • Deliver food, clear plates and reset tables in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate with colleagues in the kitchen and on the floor in order to provide an excellent dining experience.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant, and maintain the cleanliness of all areas.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Coordinate with the manager to handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of restaurant experience, preferably in a fine dining setting.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and capable of multitasking with attention to detail.
  • Can remain calm and courteous in times of high demand.
  • Experience using POS systems is strongly preferred, particularly TouchBistro.
  • Must be Smart Serve certified.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Multilingual is always a great addition.
  • Bartending experience or interest in mixology.
  • Fun and vibrant personality.
  • Customer service is driven and has great people skills.

Work Location: 30 Saint Patrick St., Toronto, ON M5T 3A- Shift Requirement: evenings and weekends, approx.

4:30 pm to 11:30 pm

  • Compensation: $15.5/hr + tips, we are a fine dining restaurant with a decent tip pool.
