Muni Robata is a fine-dining Japanese restaurant centrally located in the core of downtown Toronto. At Muni, we offer our guests an unforgettable dining experience by pairing excellent food with experienced service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with guests, take food orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
- Deliver food, clear plates and reset tables in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the kitchen and on the floor in order to provide an excellent dining experience.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant, and maintain the cleanliness of all areas.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with the manager to handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of restaurant experience, preferably in a fine dining setting.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
- Can remain calm and courteous in times of high demand.
- Experience using POS systems is strongly preferred, particularly TouchBistro.
- Must be Smart Serve certified.

**Nice-to-haves**:

- Multi-lingual is always a great addition.
- Bartending experience or interest in mixology.
- Fun and vibrant personality.
- Customer service is driven and has great people skills.

- Shift Requirement: evenings and weekends, approx. 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm
- Compensation: $15.5/hr + tips, we are a fine dining restaurant with a decent tip pool.
