Experienced Billing Clerk for a Busy Medical Clinic

Billing experience is a must, knowledge of CHR ( TelUS health ) is a big bonus.

Duties:

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate billing records
  • Review and analyze billing information for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and send invoices to customers
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure all payments are properly recorded
  • Negotiate payment terms with customers when necessary
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary billing information
  • Utilize financial software such as PeopleSoft to process billing transactions

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry
  • Excellent math skills for analyzing billing information and performing calculations
  • Previous experience in a billing or financial services role preferred
  • Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar financial software is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer service interactions
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
