Camp Walden is looking for a caring Nursing Student to join the team for the summer season. This role involves ensuring the well-being of campers and staff alongside nurses, healthcare coordinators, and camp doctors.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering medications to campers and staff as needed
- Assisting in clinics for campers and staff
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Providing first-aid and emergency care
- Collaborating with camp staff for camper's well-being
- Other tasks assigned by Healthcare coordinators
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an Accredited Canadian Nursing School
- Previous pediatric experience beneficial
- Previous camp experience beneficial
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
*Priority for students with completed pharmacology course
