Over the past 30 years, The Concord Group of companies has also diversified into business sectors such as: software and information technology, telecommunications, and green energy projects in solar, wind and hydroelectric power generation.
This person will have a minimum of 3 years of experience, high attention to detail and a willingness to adapt and learn on the job.
The responsibilities
- Assisting with activities including quality assurance, engineering, procurement, planning and controls, construction management, safety and schedule objectives
- Maintaining and updating of the project execution plan
- Managing the project calendar, arranging meetings, and answering correspondence
- Liaising with the Project team to assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Preparing progress reports on project status for senior management
- Maintaining daily project diaries and logs and managing scope changes
- Ensuring that project deliverables are in accordance with all applicable codes and standards
- Maintaining good working relationships with groups that support projects such as Construction, Consultants, Accounting, etc.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project management environment, specifically working with infrastructure projects
- An engineering or civil engineering degree from a recognized educational institution is an asset but not essential.
- Excellent English language skills (reading, spoken, written and comprehension).
- Results oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
- Proficient in systems for project execution is an asset
