Job Title: Superintendent 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent 2 to join our team at Jardeg-Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preconstruction services, including site logistics, project scheduling, and design review.
  • Manage site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, and field cost control.
  • Determine construction methods, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
  • Coordinate work with various crafts, company departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Monitor site safety programs and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Take an active role in hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel.
  • Assist with project meetings and claim resolution.

Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of construction experience, with a minimum of 2-6 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Civil infrastructure project experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in concrete structural work and civil infrastructure scopes is required.
  • Proven ability to manage project values $1M - 25M.
  • Proven ability to lead mid-sized teams.
  • Knowledge of construction engineering and design.
  • Knowledge of standard construction software and management processes.
