Your role:

  • Act as a leader for a team of 15 to 20 people responsible for delivering various administration activities related to the Vault Operations sector
  • Create a motivating environment for a team experiencing significant transformation and automation
  • Maximize your employees' contribution while helping them progress and develop their skills through ongoing coaching
  • Implement and execute an action plan to help achieve the Operations sector's transformation plan
  • Actively participate in making changes and helping achieve the target established for the digitization project
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with the various stakeholders involved in the team's activities
  • Keep abreast of technological developments and new work processes that can help improve the team's productivity while reducing operating expenses

Your team


As a section manager on the Commercial Operations, Document Management team, you'll be working with a dynamic, growing team in a fast-paced, changing environment.

You will put in place the necessary actions to deliver the services offered with a view to improving the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of your sector.

You will also engage your employees and help them maximize their contribution while ensuring their growth and skills development through personalized coaching.

You will make you mark with your leadership, your ability to rally and engage teams, and your coaching experience.

You will report to the Manager, Commercial Operations, Document Management in the IT Operations sector located in downtown Montreal.


This position requires you to be present in the workplace in order to fulfil the needs of the project deliverables.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in coaching and/or personnel management
  • Experience optimizing processes and operations
  • Experience planning and organizing work based on volume, resources, and priorities, an asset
  • Experience managing operational performance (KPIs, deadlines, quality) and group performance (synergy and teamwork), an asset
  • Ability to communicate with and motivate a team
  • Sound knowledge of operational processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence
  • Good analytical skills and ability to summarize
