POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is involved in the specialty leasing for the properties across Ontario and Canada as well.

We are looking for an individual with a curiosity for real estate, motivation to learn and grow with the team.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the temporary leasing of Retail Merchandising Units.
  • Generate ancillary revenue through specialty leasing related to units on a short term or temporary basis.
  • Identify startup and independent retailers/ entrepreneurs and incubate them within a specialty leasing program.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and execute binding license agreements with temporary tenants.
  • Manage the specialty leasing database
  • Serve as first point of contact with temporary tenants.
  • Report on critical metrics related to the specialty leasing (e.g., budgeting, forecasting).
  • Collaborate with leasing team on implementing specialty leasing.
  • Assist the leasing team with marketing efforts directly related to leasing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior temporary leasing and marketing experience is preferred.
  • A great communicator who must be able to work and communicate with a variety of diversified cultures and business owners.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently with no supervision.
  • Ability to generate new sales and revenue strategies.
  • Present a firstclass vision for the property to existing and prospective tenants.
  • Comfortable with coldcalling and networking within the business community.
  • Aptitude for figures, analysis, and budget preparation.
  • Understanding of Property Management is an asset.
