Our growing company needs a dedicated and reliable Supply Chain Associate to support our supply chain team in many functions of our day-to-day activities In this role, you will support the Buyers in populating tools to generate orders.

Once the vendor order has been placed, you will work with the scheduling team on order delivery times, and track shipments.

You will take the packing slips and enter the received order quantities and paperwork to enter the receipts into the ERP system and ensure MTRs are complete for the quality department.

The supply chain associate will be proficient in product knowledge of Oil and Gas manufacturing goods.

The Opportunity
Reporting to Supply Chain Manager, this role is accountable for:

  • Receive and ensure all receiving documentation is properly documented and in a state to be handed to the receiving department in SCM
  • Support Buyers by assisting in Material Take Offs/Bill of Material data entry for import into the ERP
  • Ensure that MTR's and documentation for MRR's are available for QC and Receiving
  • Work closely with vendors to get timely delivery information on shipments of goods to update the warehouse
  • Provide updates of PO's for scheduling
  • Have a good understanding of Vista or Portal reporting in order to answer questions or solve issues
  • Keep a record in the control log of all anomalies in the processes
  • Maintain files, systems, work areas and documentation in an organized and structured manner
  • Complete OS&D documentation and provide to Receiving (SCM) in timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Previous data entry experience required
  • Experience with MTR's is an asset
  • Familiarity with G-Suite (Gmail, Docs and Sheets similar to Microsoft Office)
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills
  • Must be well organized and capable of maintaining daily records and logs
  • Knowledge of materials including valves, fittings, flanges and pipe is a string asset
  • Team player and capable working individually when required
