THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Reporting to the Vice President, GreenShield Cares, the Manager for Community and Employee Impact is
responsible for spearheading the implementation of GreenShield's strategic vision for Social Impact. The
drive innovative community and employee engagement initiatives. These initiatives align with our
overarching business goals to ensure a cohesive and impactful strategy.

  • Partnership Development (30%)
  • Develops regional and national community partnership strategies aligned with community needs
and business objectives, emphasizing mental health.- Conducts landscape analysis to identify prospective community partners and serve as the primary

relationship manager with community foundations and other partners.- Maintains comprehensive documentation and reporting of partnerships and related impact.

  • Program Management and Innovation (25%)
  • Conducts comprehensive industry benchmarking and needs assessments for community and
employee programs.- Develops and implements strategic community investment and manages Employee Giving and

Volunteering Programs.- Optimizes and manages giving, volunteering, and grant databases and systems, including

Benevity platforms.- Strategic Communication and Stakeholder Engagement (20%)- Collaborates with the marketing and communications team to develop a comprehensive

communication strategy.- Engages regional internal teams to align strategy and manage internal and external narratives

for social impact initiatives.- Crisis Response and Philanthropy Management (10%)- Advises leadership on philanthropic responses to crises.

  • Maintains disaster relief policies and develops strategic contributions to disaster relief efforts.
  • DE&I Strategy Execution (15%)
  • Collaborates with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to integrate social impact into
Employee Resource Groups and other internal initiatives.- Ensures Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles are integrated into social impact efforts.

  • Provides project management support to develop related Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
strategies, engaging internal stakeholders and strategic advisors

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience
  • A minimum of six years in roles related to social impact, community investment, grants
management, project management, and community engagement is essential.

  • Education
  • A postsecondary degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is required. A
certification in Corporate Social Responsibility or an equivalent qualification is preferred. An MBA
- would be an asset.
  • Skills and abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, public speaking and strategic communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfortable in navigating ambiguity and a in leading through influence to achieve goals in a
matrix organization.- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with analytical capability to analyze complex issues.

  • Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking strong understanding of program management,
