What you will do

  • Enable high impact strategic projects by providing endtoend support for clients in defining analysis scope, data gathering, analysis execution and building & presenting concise and relevant insights
  • Extract, cleanse, join and modify raw data from varying data sources to enable insightful dashboards and analysis
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconcile variances, and recognize data nuances/limitations
  • Tackle business questions that are ambiguous in nature and effectively break down big questions into smaller hypothesis, develop analytical solutions, synthesize, and analyze data to draw insightful conclusions
  • Take complex data points and simplify with effective and representative visualizations (charts, tables, graphs, slides) to provide analytical insights and recommendations, to influence business clients
  • Decompose highlevel information into details for technical users, and conversely abstract up from granularlevel information into general conclusions for business users
  • Be an impartial "Consultant" to business users and confidently present accurate and relevant info without injecting bias
  • Work crossfunctionally to leverage data to assess incremental lift from strategic initiatives. Partner closely with Finance to evaluate costbenefit.
  • Improve existing models and partner closely with Capabilities Development team to design new models
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and strive to continuously improve and automate

What you bring

  • Postsecondary degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role
  • Analytical and strategical thinker with strong business acumen
  • Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to SQL, Power BI, Python and Excel. Experience in Azure Synapse is an asset
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets and a passion for working with quantitative and qualitative data
  • Detailed oriented, with a structured approach to analysis and the ability to develop logical arguments
  • Ability to dive deep into the data, yet be able to recognize the bigger picture of the problem you are trying to solve and remain focused on key objectives
  • Proactiveness in partnering with other team members and crossfunctionally to seek new data points from varied sources (external and internal) to complement and enhance analysis
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable in presenting in front of audiences of Managers and AVPs
  • Strong curiosity and growth mindset to continuously improve to elevate self and rest of team
  • Personable team player with strong verbal, written (and visualization) communication skills to build client relationships and influence within and across teams
