THE ROLE

We are actively looking for an Intern Analyst to join our Strategic Initiatives Delivery (SID) team in May 2023, for either a 4-month (May Aug 2023) or 8-month (May December 2023) term.

The role will be part of a growing and dynamic SID team, reporting into the Senior Director, Delivery Practice & Portfolio Reporting.

The incumbent will work closely with Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Program/Portfolio Directors to develop and communicate plans for execution of various initiatives.

You will collaborate and build relationships with a wide array of stakeholders from across the organization.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain valuable work experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment while being a part of a new pension plan.

Due to COVID-19 all roles are hybrid with a minimum commitment of 2 days a week in the office.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deliver datadriven insights, status reports, meeting materials, and action items to various teams
  • Analyze project trends, identifying and acting on areas for improvement
  • Capture and summarize project data to create portfolio level reports
  • Generate, update, and analyze financial plans including monthly rolling forecasts, latest estimates, baselines, and working versions

  • Support the development of plans, schedules, resource plans, business plans, communication plans and performance metrics
  • Help administer tools such as Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) and support user management, workflow customizations, and training
  • Explore new technical solutions and automation to better support portfolio and project delivery

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree, with a focus on an analytical area or communications. Examples include Business/Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Visual Design Communication.
  • Proficient in Office 365 Tools
  • Possesses basic knowledge of and a keen interest in project organization and execution
  • Excellent oral communication skills and professional writing
