We are looking for a Casual Home Support Scheduler at Castlegar and District Community and Health Centre in Castlegar, BC.

Days of work:
Rotating, Days, Evenings

Shift times:
06:30 to 14:30, 12:00 to 20:00, 05:30 to 13:30

This role is casual, which means hours are not guaranteed, and work days and shift times may vary. Many careers here start with casual positions and can lead to more permanent opportunities.

What will your responsibilities include?
The Home Support Scheduler will focus on creating and organizing home support service schedules.

Duties may involve:

  • Receiving service referrals and modifications;
  • Assessing client requirements and assigning Community Health Workers based on suitability;
  • Managing and adjusting schedules for Community Health Workers;
  • Verifying completion of client services;
  • Tracking time.

What should you provide in your application?

  • A recent 5-Minute Typing Test with a minimum of 30 wpm conducted within the last 24 months;
  • Evidence of graduation from an accredited Office Administration Program;
  • Your resume showcasing at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and training.
