Analytics and SEO Specialist

I'm currently the Senior Director of Ecommerce and we're looking for an Analytics and SEO Specialist to join the team.
I have worked at the company for a year and a half, and the growth and momentum of it has been both rewarding and motivating.

As the Analytics and SEO Specialist you will provide the team with insights that enable data-driven decision-making, to grow ecommerce revenue.
You have an energetic approach to taking on new opportunities, and you will use your data analytics and SEO skills to uncover those that will increase product discovery, elevate shopping experiences and boost the rate at which they convert.
Roles and Responsibilities- Generate actionable insights that grow revenue and enhance the customer experience, through building insightful reports and dashboards, analyzing online customer behaviour and communicating analyses.
- Optimize web analytics infrastructure to track and identify strategic opportunities across channels and throughout the customer journey, and collaborate with the ecommerce and marketing teams to execute.
- Lead and implement our SEO strategy, including keyword strategy, page optimization, technical optimization, and authority development, collaborating with the web development, ecommerce and marketing teams.
- Optimize website architecture, content, and linking to improve ranking for target keywords.
- Develop and define measurement strategies to quantify the performance of ecommerce and SEO initiatives and compare against benchmarks and past performance.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in ecommerce analytics and SEO
- Proven skills, education or applicable certifications in:
- Website analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
- Tracking infrastructure (Google Tag Manager)
- Visualization tools (Looker Studio)
- Behaviour analytics (Hotjar)
- SEO tools (SEMrush)
- Strong understanding of SEO and Google's web standards, proficiency in structured is a plus
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and a datadriven approach
- Ability to be both a selfstarter and a team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Experience and familiarity with Shopify is a plus
- 3 weeks vacation + 3 float days + Summer Fridays (we close the office early at 1 pm)
