Jameson Carpentry is a residential construction company specializing in Lake Muskoka island properties. We are a small, detail-focused team committed to delivering exceptional quality workmanship to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations
  • Provide support to the team as needed
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in carpentry
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools
  • Knowledge of building materials and construction techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work on Lake Muskoka island properties
  • Must live within 60km of job site. If you live further than 60km, $30 per day will be provided for gas and car expenses.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $30-$40/h, based on experience and skill level.

Salary:
