Position Summary:

The Commercial Property Contracts Administrator is responsible for overseeing the creation and negotiation process for these building access agreements.

They will be responsible for writing, reviewing, negotiating and executing commercial property agreements between building owners, landlords, and property managers to ensure they are compliant with CRTC laws and company policies.


Our Property Contracts team manages contracts that govern our interaction with the building itself and pay a fee to occupying space in that building.

Even though we have a client/provider relationship with the tenants inside each building, we need to also have a relationship with whoever owns the building that houses all of our special equipment, both for NPOPs and for POPs.


What you will be doing:

  • Creating, analyzing, negotiating, and executing contracts related to commercial properties on our network
  • Building and maintaining relationships with building staff and sometimes clients and other business connections
  • Maintaining contractrelated documents and correspondence
  • Presenting contract information to relevant parties, such as stakeholders
  • Troubleshooting contractrelated problems, such as breach of contract
  • Keeping track of contracts and extending, renewing, or terminating
  • Assisting with compliance with mandatory standards such as CRTC regulations, insurance, and buildingspecific regulations
  • Staying informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations
  • Internally, we answer questions about building access, fees, marketing, sales strategies, migration, or builds/installs if needed.

What are we looking for:

  • Postsecondary education
  • 23 years of related experience in office administration/coordination, ideally within real estate or property management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Experience working with MacOS.
  • Experience with JIRA and SAP an asset.
