Radon Project Manager

Indoor Environmental Quality

Pinchin is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Indoor Environmental Quality department at our GTA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Indoor Environmental Quality projects throughout the GTA Region
  • Client relationship maintenance
  • Marketing to prospective new clients
  • Oversee consulting projects, including assessments, contract preparation, and abatement work. Projects may be multidisciplinary and involve more than one Service Line
  • Perform air quality assessments, and preparing assessment reports, management plans, etc.
  • Perform radon measurement assessments
  • Radon mitigation design and contractor management.
  • Radon roughin design in new construction.
  • Radiation services.
  • Financial responsibility for assigned projects
  • Train and mentor junior and intermediate staff, including reviews of written work
  • Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
  • Assist in the development, and implementation of the yearly Business Plan
  • Perform any other jobrelated duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science, or Environmental science
  • 35 years experience as a Project Manager in indoor environmental quality, radon or equivalent field.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and proof all written reports and correspondence
  • Good spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage assigned staff during project specific work
  • Ability to write, edit, read and understand specifications, drawings, reports and RFP/RFQ documents
  • Professional verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license, insurance and car are required
  • Availability to travel
