**Résumé des fonctions**
Le commis Intermodal accomplit diverses tâches liées aux activités d'exploitation intermodale et travaille directement avec les exploitants portuaires, les directeurs des ports et plusieurs autres services. La personne titulaire du poste soutient les transactions d'entrée et de sortie à la guérite aux triages intermodaux du CN au moyen d'un logiciel de gestion à la guérite. De plus, la personne en poste accomplit des tâches liées au service à la clientèle (aide aux conducteurs, prise d'appels téléphoniques, réponse aux courriels, etc.) et remet les feuilles de train pour s'assurer que les équipes de train disposent des documents appropriés pour circuler de façon sécuritaire et efficace dans tout le réseau.
**Principales responsabilités**
- Fournir à l'Exploitation les exigences en matière de transactions
- Mener des activités de chargement liées aux ports et aux terminaux, et les valider
- Résoudre les questions complexes de plusieurs parties relativement aux feuilles de route et à l'échange de documents informatisés (EDI)
- Établir des méthodes de travail
**Conditions de travail**
- Ce poste prévoit des conditions de travail standard dans un bureau et un horaire de travail normal du lundi au vendredi.
- La personne titulaire de ce poste doit être sur appel 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7 pour intervenir en cas d'incidents critiques.
- En raison de la nature du poste, la personne qui l'occupe doit être en mesure de respecter des échéanciers serrés, de bien tolérer la pression et de gérer le stress.
**Exigences**
- Qualification comme commis Rampe des véhicules automobiles*
- Formation sur le système SRS (Objectif fiabilité) et les méthodes connexes*
- Certificat en vertu du Règlement sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses (niveau 2 - TO4202)*
- Module d'autoformation en manutention de marchandises dangereuses terminé*
- Connaissance approfondie de la suite Office de Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint et Word), du système Guérite express (AGS) et de Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
- Aisance au clavier d'un ordinateur et connaissance du fonctionnement d'un ordinateur et de l'équipement de bureau courant
- Connaissance du Règlement sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses, des règles applicables aux chargements exceptionnels, des règles, des tarifs et des contrats liés aux envois intermodaux et en wagons complets, notamment en ce Commis Intermodal 4 qui a trait à la protection de tous les renseignements associés aux envois, des méthodes de déclaration aux douanes canadiennes et américaines, et des exigences en matière de protection des revenus*
- Connaissance du Système feuilles de route, y compris de l'entrepôt de données, du courriel, de l'Outil stratégique de programmation intermodale d'Optimization Alternatives (OASIS) et du système SRS*
- Connaissance des normes en matière de commerce électronique
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais) à l'oral et à l'écrit
- Navigation sans problème dans le visualisateur EDI
- Travail sans supervision constante ni directe
- Prise de décisions éclairées au bon moment
- Approche axée sur le client
- Toute expérience, formation, compétence ou connaissance dans l'un des domaines ci-dessus constitue un atout
**Formation**
La personne titulaire du poste recevra une formation en cours d'emploi de 2 mois sans formation théorique en classe.
