The Role:

What You'll Do:

Base Store Accountabilities (approx 50%)

  • Accountable to base studio performance, achieving studio occupancy and revenue targets through service & operational excellence and by motivating and developing piercing lead talent & expertise within the 4 walls.
  • Consistently executes the gold standard, delivering excellent customer experiences with each interaction, resulting in achieving SPH, AOV, Conversion & NPS targets.
Manages base studio operations, ensuring all policies, procedures and systems are maintained 10/10.

Multi Unit Accountabilities (approx 50%)

  • Supports talent acquisition and learning & development efforts for Piercing Leads across multiple stores, ensuring top talent is recruited and set up for success, developing & maintaining a strong community of piercing professionals who are motivated, engaged, high performing and aligned with Mejuri values.
  • Acts as a liaison to ensure consistency across Piercing Studio operations, creating alignment on the execution of standards, supplies, processes and policies.
  • Constantly seeking ways to improve our systems, processes & procedures, provides feedback and makes recommendations to cross functional departments to improve our business operations and standards.
  • Offers industry insights and best practices for new geographies, to ensure all piercing studios are adhering to government requirements and operating 10/10
  • Partners with the District Manager to provide support & expertise as needed to enable all studios to achieve their objectives, supporting people & customer initiatives (including events), product/inventory management and general business operations.

What you bring to the team:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading & developing high performing teams
  • 5+ years of experience piercing (with needle & flat back labrets)
  • Updated First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
  • Industry expertise, remaining up to date on industry changes and trends.
  • Ability to be registrable with local health enforcement & meets requirements by area for permits
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking & the ability to foresee roadblocks
  • Ability to coach and influence others.
  • The desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • May require moderate domestic and/or international travel and troubleshooting challenges impacting retail stores outside of normal work hours.
