Position: Insolvency Advisor at BDO Ottawa

About the Role:

  • Assist debtors and creditors regarding bankruptcies and proposals
  • Conduct initial consultations to assess debtor's situations
  • Prepare necessary files and documents for client signing
  • Engage in community outreach, business development, and presentations

Requirements:

  • Experience in financial advisory or customer service-focused roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a variable workload
  • Proficiency in liaising with internal and external parties
  • Insolvency experience and willingness to complete required courses
