The Role:

Vard Electro is looking for a Project Management Assistant to join our team in our Vancouver office. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish.

  • Work as directed by project manager and project engineer to support project planning, reporting, tracking and invoicing.
  • Work collaboratively with project planners, ITB manager and staffing manager to coordinate and support internal plans and progress reports.
  • Draft the following documentation for approval and release by the PM/PE:
  • Weekly progress reports to _customers._
  • Draft customer _invoices._
  • Review vendor _invoices._
  • Draft Milestone Achievement Certificates for customer _approval._
  • Draft Dashboard Project Data (DPD) for review by _PM._
  • Draft Change Orders, Variation Orders for approval by _PM._
  • Create draft intercompany documents (Internal Company Work Order and Call-Off Instructions) for review by _PM._
  • Tracking deliverables for the project as _assigned._
  • Create ARAS inputs for PM and _PE._
  • Monthly staffing _profiles._
  • Draft Monthly Progress Reports (Internal) for review by _PM._
  • Activities and tasks as directed by PM or PE

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate education credentials (college or university).
  • Strong working knowledge of P6 is desired,
  • Experience with MS Project and MS Office _tools is required._
  • Successful experience in this position _preferred._
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines to support successful project _execution._
  • Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project _details._
  • Highly organized and detailoriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and _effectively._
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to hold Canadian Controlled Goods and Reliability Status

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required.
