Billing Specialist in Regina.
_This is a hybrid position as there is some in office time required._

Purpose:
Reporting to the Controller, the
Billing Specialist facilitates HealthHub's for full cycle billing/invoicing, accounts receivables, collections, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities**:

  • Process and send out all AR billings.
  • Receive, sort, and track incoming payments.
  • Work with sales representatives on new customer set up.
  • Address and resolve customer questions and issues relating to invoices.
  • Provide regular accurate reports of billing data.
  • Post billing related journal entries.
  • Participate in monthend procedures including account reconciliations.
  • Process hospital commissions.
  • Monitor customer AR balances and follow up with collection procedures, as necessary.
  • Monitor and process equipment sale billings.
  • Process refunds.
  • Liaise between internal and external parties.
  • Communicate pricing changes to customers.
  • Coordination of customer PO's and contract changes.
  • Follow up with customers on expiring contracts or PO's.
  • Identify areas for business flow improvements for AR and billing.
  • Review open sales orders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business or accounting, or education from a technical school with some training in accounting.
  • 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
