What you will do (Responsibilities):

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to our strong set of company values and do our best to ensure the safety of our customers and employees
  • Open, close, and transfer natural gas accounts for our customers
  • Update customer and account information accurately and efficiently
  • Educate customers on the benefits of electronic billing and our myaccount self-serve options
  • Promote corporate programs and initiatives
  • Follow company and business unit processes, policies, and procedures

Who you are (Qualifications):

  • Minimum high school education with 4 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong computer skills required with proficiency using Microsoft's Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Accurate keyboard/data entry skills with a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment under direct and indirect supervision
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

The following would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in a call center environment
  • University degree/Post-secondary education equivalent
