Job Cost Administrator - Mechanical Division is located in Kitchener, Ontario and reports directly to the Manager, Finance & Administration.

Your Role and Essential Job Functions:

  • Assign project job numbers and maintain digital project files;
  • Prepare and send out invoices for contracts, quoted projects, and time and material jobs;
  • Reconcile project costs;
  • Determine job completion and follow closeout procedures;
  • Review weekly timesheets for field personnel;
  • Provide administrative support to the Mechanical Division Project Managers and Division Manager;
  • Office administrationrelated duties, including phone coverage, responsible for office supply inventory, ordering companybranded forms, and arranging mail and couriers;
  • Cash receipts, including daily deposits and reconciliation;
  • Collections and accounts receivable reporting;
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relations;
  • Act with the best interest of Roberts Onsite at all times;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in accounting or related discipline

Software:

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Jonas Management System for Construction an asset, but will train
  • Knowledge of Trimble Accubid an asset, but will train

Compensation:

  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. with a one hour lunch break)
