The opportunity


The Mortgage Funding and Broker Support team is Primarily responsible for the administering of routine residential mortgage portfolio from new loan inception to maturity or discharge.

In addition to preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions and documents, this position requires a high degree of Accuracy and Teamwork.


Individual Responsibilities:

Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions Address routine queries from internal and external customers Maintain control of all security/property documents.


During peak times overtime will be required.

Job Requirements:

  • General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices.
  • Knowledge of real estate law Knowledge of mortgagerelated provincial legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel Previous Banking experience is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a highvolume, fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to understand and correctly interpret legal mortgage documents.
  • Oral and written French language skills are an asset but not required.
  • During peak times overtime will be required.

The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of Waterloo, Ontario is expected to be between $41,025.00 CAD - $68,375.00 CAD.
