About the work environment:

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

About you / qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a sales professional
  • Minimum of 2 years managing and developing a team
  • Business development and relationship building experience within the mortgage industry considered an asset
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending (insured and uninsured), mortgage insurance policies and guidelines, and mortgage underwriting practices an asset
  • Customerfocused, adept at building client relations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in using SalesForce as a CRM tool is an asset

About the day-to-day:

  • Manages, motivates and develops direct reports through ongoing performance development
  • Develop and manage direct reports as a People leader
  • Coach, mentor and train sales employees in the art of sales and account management
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships
  • Follow and maintain a defined sales strategy based on activities and database management
  • Prepare, coordinate and present sales presentations and proposals to new and existing brokers and agents
  • Attend and promote the Bank's mortgage products at industry Trade Shows, Conferences, and Promotional Events
  • Accountable for achieving and reporting sales activity targets for the regions
  • Manage territory expenses and accountable for overall budget
