Who we need:

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, Social Media and Community Engagement Strategist is responsible for building online communities, supporting social media strategy and content creation, managing inquiries over social media and providing customer support for current and potential students. Specific responsibilities include: supporting the daily management and execution of a social media calendar, content development, responding to comments/inquiries overs social media in a strategic and timely manner, and finding new and creative ways to engage and build online communities. Contributes to a working environment where all team members can be their best selves, grow and thrive, to support our corporate mission of championing student success.

What you will do:
  • Actively supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of the communications team, to support the corporate strategic imperatives.
  • With the support of other team members and leadership, engages in daily communication with potential and current learners.
  • Maintains working relationships with cross-functional, internal business partners (managers, professionals).
  • Requires communicating with stakeholders, where objectives and priorities are mostly shared.
  • Actively participating in the collection, review and analysis of data, the adherence to policies, procedures and programs, and working with applicable applications to support the responsibilities of the social media function.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in other teams on cross-functional projects and initiatives, to support the strategic imperatives.
  • Contributing to a positive corporate culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning, and wellness.
  • Upholding strong brand standards. What you bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in communications and/or marketing, including experience with social media, online community building, and content creation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or international equivalent).
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in working collaboratively with teammates, across units, and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast paced settings considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams). What's in it for you:
