Morris National is a company you'll be proud to join Job Description Reporting to the Eastern Canada Sales Manager, as a Sales Representative you will be responsible to manage, develop, sustain, and grow the portfolio of confectionery products in an assigned group of customers across all trade channels in Quebec and Atlantic provinces by delivering high-quality service, developing existing/new business through increased sales volume, and by selling existing & innovative new products.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage territory to maximize coverage, service current products, secure distribution and expand the sale of Morris National products Plan and set priorities for each customer to achieve organizational goals.
Frequent communication with category managers & buyers Develop all existing accounts relative to sales volume, distribution, space allocation, in store presence and customer service objectivesSelling / securing product listings & promotions, soliciting placement of incremental marketing equipment like displays as seasonal or IN/OUT opportunities.
Manage inventory levels in accounts to ensure they are optimal and products available for customersIdentify changing customer needs through reviews of the highest selling productsEngaging/Finding new customers for Morris National products.
Educating/exciting customers on existing portfolio of products and upcoming innovations, by ensuring to have all information, knowledge, and documents necessary to communicate, present and secure buy-in.
Qualifications / RequirementsThe successful candidate for this role must be Bilingual (French/English) both oral and written. Ideal candidate needs to reside in Montreal or greater Montreal area. Able/willing to travel across Quebec and to Atlantic provinces based on customer locations.Bachelor's degree requiredMust possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehiclePrevious sales experience (2-3years) in consumer-packaged goods preferredDemonstrate analytical and organizational skills (able to handle multiple priorities, problem solve, meet targets, build reviews)Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and strong presentation/communication skills;Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.),Motivated and able to work independently.
